- Your adventure begins at T.E.M.S.C.O. Helicopters modern helicopter facility. The experienced and personable staff will provide a safety orientation, outfit you with warm glacier boots.
- A-star helicopters, built especially for excellent viewing opportunities, will whisk you away for some of the most spectacular glacier flightseeing on earth.
- Join our team of professional Iditarod and Yukon Quest mushers on the famous Mendenhall Glacier in Juneau. As you can imagine, running and racing sled dogs is a big part of our lives. We are anxious to share our dogs, experiences and love of the North Country with you.
- After some practice with the sled dogs and the mushers you will have the opportunity to mush your own team. While you are here you will learn the skills necessary to command your own team and navigate the glacier trails.
- Breakfast comes with your stay with us and also a hearty evening meal! During the evening meal, which is prepared by our cook, you will hear stories of trail running and racing in some of the most extreme circumstances. After dinner, relax on your porch. Enjoy watching the sun go down and the serenity of the glacier.
- Your hut will be private and provide you with a very restful stay. Not only will you have the comfort of flannel sheets and thick comforter you will also be provided with your own heater to give you the level of warmth that you need for your night on the icefield.
